Three bedrooms, a private pool, sleeps seven, on a quiet street in Bingin.
Selamat Datang
Madu Bungalow Bingin is a double storey, Bali island style compound: 400sqm, all three bedrooms under one roof, and the whole property is yours for the stay. Nobody else shares the compound.
The Pool, And Everything Around It
A private pool at the centre of the compound, framed by a thatched gazebo, sun loungers and lawn. Nobody else shares it: the water, the daybeds and the garden are yours for the stay.
The pool is serviced twice a week and a groundskeeper covers the grounds five days a week, so it is ready whenever you are.

The Bedrooms, And How They Sit Together
Bedroom one has a king bed and a day bed, both under mosquito nets, with a large ensuite. Bedrooms two and three each have a queen bed, a mosquito net and an indoor/outdoor ensuite. That is four beds and 3.5 bathrooms for up to seven people.
Air conditioning runs in every bedroom. There is wifi, a kitchen, a TV, a safe downstairs, all linen provided and free parking in a gated driveway. Housekeeping comes six days a week.

The Beach, And The Walk Down
The beach is open. The way down changed.
In July 2025, the old stairs to Bingin Beach were demolished along with 48 unpermitted structures on the cliff. The beach itself never closed. People surf it every day.
The route down now runs through a farm property, and it is closer to Madu Bungalow Bingin than the old stairs were: roughly a five minute walk. Ade will walk it with you on your first morning.
Google Maps still sends people to the old path, past the demolition debris. Both descriptions of Bingin you might read online are true. They just describe two different routes.
- Villa: through the gate
- Farm Gate: the new route, roughly five minutes
- Bingin Beach: the sand
Old route: roughly 187 concrete steps, demolished in July 2025, some debris underfoot.
